WHAT IS AGED CARE & HOME CARE MASSAGES?

A Flexr therapist comes to you with everything needed for your treatment and tailors each session to your individual need, mobility and comfort.

Our mobile massage and Myotherapy service is designed for people who may find travelling to a clinic difficult, inconvenient or unnecessary.

Treatment may help to:

Reduce pain, tension & muscle stiffness

Maintain mobility & physical function

Improve circulation & reduce swelling

Support recovery & general wellbeing

Improve quality of life & day to day comfort

CAN I USE MY FUNDING?

  • The Australian Government’s Support at Home program replaced the Home Care Packages Program in November 2025.

    If you have an approved package, your funding is based on your assessed needs and the services included in your support plan.

    Speak with your individual at Home provider or care partner to confirm whether massage or Myotherapy is an approved service within your plan.

  • The Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) continues to operate during the transition to Support at Home.

    CHSP includes therapeutic services for independent living, which can include Remedial massage, where the service is appropriate and approved for the client.

    If you’re unsure what you’re approved for, your care provider can help you check.

  • Some clients may have funding through other disability supports or state-based programs that include therapeutic services.

    While NDIS funding does not cover massage or Myotherapy, other programs may. Please check your plan manager or support coordinator whether Flexr Therapy can be engaged to provide your treatment.

WHERE DO WE VISIT?

AT HOME

We’ll come directly to the client’s home. All we need is enough room for the massage table.

AGED CARE FACILITIES

We visit residential aged care facilities and provide treatment on-site, subject to facility requirements.

RETIREMENT LIVING

We visit retirement villages, independent living communities and similar accommodation.

SUPPORTED ACCOM

Where appropriate treatment can be arranged in supported accommodation.
